Picking Cabernet Franc as the main base was a risky choice we made, as its uncommon in vermouth preparations, nevertheless it resulted in a daring and different product. Cabernet Franc is characterized by having spicy notes, that is why we chose certain herbs in order to highlight this herbaceous profile. It is worth mentioning that, like the other varieties, it is a dry vermouth that highlights the wine profile of Paraje Altamira; maintaining the essence of the raw material. The herbs that accompany the wine base are: wormwood (main herb of vermouth), sage that provides freshness, while the fennel gives a usual herbal touch. It is the driest vermouth in our portfolio, ideal to drink alone or in cocktails.
